At Educational Foundation for Children's Care Inc. (EFCCI), we believe that every child deserves the chance to dream, to thrive, and to succeed—no matter the circumstances of their birth. For over two decades, we have dedicated ourselves to serving children from minority communities in South Florida and vulnerable youth in Jamaica who face unimaginable challenges.

• From offering scholarships to talented young students in South Florida…

• To expand counseling services for children of incarcerated parents who bear heavy emotional burdens…

Our mission is to offer safe, loving, and structured residential care for abandoned, abused, and less fortunate children in Jamaica, rooted in hope, compassion, and opportunity.

Our care extends well beyond just providing shelter. We offer:

• Nutritious food to support growing bodies.

• Medical care to safeguard health and well-being.
• Clothing and shelter for dignity and safety.
• Education and vocational training for lifelong success.
• Spiritual and psychological support to heal hearts and minds.

Today, we are witnessing lives transformed. Our oldest teenager is now enrolled at a local university, pursuing a degree in special education to one day support children with learning challenges. The other children from our home are doing well in local primary and high schools.

Our Vision for the Future

We are about to start an exciting new chapter. EFCCI has purchased an additional beautiful 3-acre property in Jamaica to relocate present operations—a place where our children will live in safer, larger, and more nurturing surroundings. But this dream needs your help to become a reality.

We must:

• Renovate and upgrade the home to ensure it is child-friendly and safe.
• Provide furnishings and learning spaces to inspire young minds.
• Install protective fencing around the property to ensure our children stay safe.

With your partnership, this new facility will enable us to serve more children in need—providing them a safe space to heal, grow, and regain confidence in themselves.
