An ITWomen College Scholarship helps give a young woman a big start to their dreams for tech and a foundation for economic independence. Each year the number of scholarships available is determined by the amount of donations raised. Many ITWomen scholarship recipients are the first in their family to attend college and have demonstrated perseverance and strength to overcome extraordinary challenges to pursue their dreams.

The impact of an ITWomen scholarship goes beyond critical financial assistance and includes:
• An $8,000 four-year renewable scholarship for a degree in IT or Engineering.
• Match to a Female Technology Mentor for support during college while competing in male-dominated IT and Engineering classes.
• Coordination for internship and job opportunities with our Partners.
• Help with post-grad job searches.

Many of our scholars also give back by inspiring younger girls as ITWomen Role Model speakers or interns in our Robotics and Programming camps. To date, ITWomen Role Models program has helped introduce more than 25,000 girls in middle schools and high schools to the exciting possibilities of a future in tech.

Help us celebrate 20 years! ITWomen inspires, educates and empowers girls in middle and high school to confidently pursue a future in technology! The reasons for the large gender gap in STEM include social expectations for girls. Your donations help us equal the playing field by supporting free Robotics & Programming Camps for girls, Role Model Speakers, College Scholarships for IT and Engineering degrees, Virtual Mentoring and more. Volunteer-driven, we are supported by donations, so every contribution has impact. Since 2002, we have helped 134 young women with scholarships. In turn, these young women inspire the next generation of girls to follow in their footsteps. Our mission is to increase the number of women across technology and #RaiseTheRatio.
