Have A Need A Ministry (H.A.N.A.) connects and uplifts the Miami community through sharing—what we have and what we need. Since 2015, H.A.N.A. has grown into a trusted local network where neighbors, nonprofits, and organizations share free items, local events, volunteer opportunities, employment openings, and community resources that support children, families, and senior adults.

Our active Miami Facebook social media group and Instagram community have become vital connection points for sharing needs, resources, and opportunities. What began as a church benevolence effort has grown into a faith-based nonprofit that now collaborates with diverse individuals and organizations, including Hope for Miami, Wellspring Counseling, Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation, Miami-Dade Transportation, and Safe Families, among others. Together, we promote collaboration, compassion, and faith in action across our city. Even the founder of Have A Need A Ministry, Dr. Leigh Byers, is also connected as a Board member with Florida Christian School and Hope for Miami. 

At times, H.A.N.A. has also helped individuals facing urgent needs such as rent or essential living expenses, as resources allow.
