Empowering Youth Inc.

Since 2008 Empowering Youth, Inc., has provided programming for at-risk youth, children and families through education, mentoring and counseling. Established with the goal of providing resources and programs that focus on healthy, emotional, social and intellectual development, Empowering Youth, Inc., is comprised of dynamic professionals, who have experience in the education and health care fields. Always staying in line with our motto "It Takes a Village," Empowering Youth, Inc., has resources in place that help children excel and succeed in life.

Empowering Youth, Inc., operates a private school, an Early Head Start program, as well as after school and summer programs. We also provide academic tutoring, parenting classes, and mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment services. Our programs focus on academic support and enrichment, social and emotional learning (SEL), health awareness, risk behavior prevention, family strengthening, conflict resolution and character development. Empowering Youth, Inc., serves approximately 900 people each year. Many of our programs are offered to families for free or at a low cost.

Empowering Youth offers childcare services through the Pink & Blue Children's Academy. The Pink & Blue Children's Academy is staffed with highly qualified professionals, who nurture and guide children as young as six weeks of age, in a loving and safe environment. The Pink & Blue Children's Academy offers services for infants and children up until 12 years of age, and is open to all students regardless of race, color, national origin and ethnic origin.
