Easterseals South Florida has been serving people with special needs and abilities - and their families - for over 80 years. We want all children in our Head Start, early education, and special education programs to reach their full potential and all adults living with cognitive impairments - and their caregivers - to live the most dignified life possible. Eastereals is responsive to the needs of the community - leading the way to 100% equity, inclusion and access for people with disabilities.

Mission

At Easterseals South Florida, we are grateful for friends like you who help us carry out our vital work serving individuals with special needs and their families in Miami-Dade.

This is why we participate in Give Miami Day - one of the nation’s biggest 24-hour online giving events.

Give Miami Day donations are crucial for our Easterseals family because they help ensure we maintain, build, and grow our capacity to address the rising rates in disabilities and special needs, and the increasing demand for our quality services.

In addition to receiving a percentage of the Give Miami Day bonus pool from The Miami Foundation, all donations $25 and above will be matched dollar for dollar through a generous challenge grant provided by The Batchelor Foundation – making an even bigger impact on the families we serve!

Your donation will directly support the essential programming and services we provide children, young adults and older adults with disabilities and disadvantages – including, but not limited to: Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, developmental delays; and high financial need.
