STEAM isn’t just the latest buzzword in education; it’s a way of learning that gives our children the skills they need to confidently question, examine, and understand the changing world around them. David Fairchild Elementary PTA is committed to empowering DFE’s teachers and students with a fully outfitted STEAM Lab and Learning Garden, designed to spark curiosity and a love of discovery. These aren’t simply educational tools; they are the building blocks of creative thinking and hands-on learning our students need in order to succeed.

2025 has seen significant cuts to public education funding. David Fairchild Elementary PTA is choosing to view this year’s Give Miami Day as a unique opportunity to unite our community in a spirit of mass generosity, allowing us to DREAM BIG and give our school EVEN MORE than ever before. 👟 RUN WITH US! Join Team DFE PTA on Sunday, Nov. 16 in Maurice A. Ferré Park at the inaugural Give Miami 5K Run/Walk, Kids Dash, and Festival. Registration includes a shirt, personalized bib, swag, and medal… plus, your ENTIRE REGISTRATION FEE is donated to DFE PTA’s Give Miami Day campaign!
