The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is a nonprofit, community-based organization that has served children, individuals, and families throughout Miami-Dade County since 1977. Headquartered in Miami Gardens, CFCE is committed to strengthening families, improving health and well-being, and creating opportunities for the people we serve to thrive.
For nearly 50 years, CFCE has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Today, we provide a continuum of care through three primary service areas: Child & Family Services, Behavioral Health Services, and CFCE Health.
Child & Family Services
Through our Group Living Services, CFCE provides residential services for foster youth ages 14–17, offering a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for young people in care. Our program provides 24-hour support, guidance, and individualized services that promote well-being, strengthen essential life skills, support educational success, and prepare youth for greater independence and a successful transition into adulthood.
Behavioral Health Services
CFCE provides comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Through counseling, therapy, and supportive services, we help individuals address emotional and behavioral challenges, strengthen coping skills, build resilience, and improve their overall quality of life.
CFCE Health
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), CFCE Health provides accessible, high-quality healthcare to children, adults, and families throughout our community, including those who are uninsured or underserved. We work to reduce barriers to care and connect individuals with the services and resources they need to achieve better health outcomes.
At CFCE, we recognize that the well-being of individuals, families, and communities is interconnected. By bringing together healthcare, behavioral health, and supportive services, we are helping build a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Miami-Dade County.
