Building the Future of Black Prosperity — One Founder, One Ecosystem at a Time
The Center for Black Innovation is a Miami-based think tank and community hub on a mission to close the racial wealth gap by building thriving Black innovation ecosystems. We invest in the people, places, and policies that unlock opportunity from equipping founders with capital access and entrepreneurial resources, to transforming neighborhoods like Overtown into centers of creativity, technology, and community wealth.
Formerly known as Code Fever, we’ve evolved into a national leader advancing inclusive innovation through research, programming, and ecosystem design. We work to ensure that Black innovators are not only participants in the innovation economy, but architects of it.
Through initiatives like Tech Tuesdays, Bold Fridays, and Black History Saturday School, we connect founders, creatives, and youth to tools, mentors, and spaces that turn ideas into impact. Our vision is a future where Black prosperity is powered by innovation, ownership, and community capital, not barriers to access.
Join us in building the infrastructure for lasting Black prosperity — right here in Miami and beyond.
The Center for Black Innovation is a think tank and black innovation ecosystem building organization with the understanding that smart cities and communities are formed by cultivating great leaders, entrepreneurs, and real capital pathways that values black culture and communities as our greatest asset. We focus on building asset and talent-rich spaces in Black communities where innovation can thrive, by drawing programming, resources, and guiding our innovators along capital pathways, through research and inclusive policies.
