Camp UOTS

More than a camp. We are a childhood cancer community and support system.

Since 1991, Camp UOTS has created a place where children and teens affected by cancer can step away from the hospitals, the treatments, and the weight of their diagnosis and simply be kids. 

What began as a free summer camp has grown into a community that supports patients and survivors through different stages of their cancer journey. Through complimentary, medically supported programs, we create opportunities for joy, support, and connection.

Camp UOTS Summer Camp: Our week-long sleep-away camp gives pediatric cancer patients the chance to experience adventure, friendship, independence, and the magic of childhood, all with in a medically supported environment. 

Thrive Fest: A survivorship celebration that seeks bring our community together while connecting survivors with resources and support for life after treatment. 

REdiscover: A weekend for patients whose school experience has been disrupted by treatment. Patients have the chance to take part in interesting and unique lessons and activities alongside their peers bringing back the connection, curiosity, and fun of learning in a school setting. 

Growing Our Community: Our support doesnt stop with patients and survivors. As Camp UOTS continues to grow, we are actively working to expand our programming to include caregivers, parents and siblings in the near future.

Our programs are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, many of whom are former campers themselves, as well as doctors, nurses, and child life specialists. This unique combination of clinical expertise, compassionate support, and lived experience creates a community where members feel safe, understood, and truly at home.

Every Camp UOTS program is provided at no cost to participating families. Your support helps us continue creating spaces where pediatric cancer patients, survivors, and their families can step outside the diagnosis to find connection through Unity, hope through Optimism, confidence through Trust, and purpose through Service.
