Camillus Health Concern

A nonprofit organization

About Camillus Health Concern, Inc.

Operating as a ministry of the Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, Camillus Health Concern delivered its first health care services in 1984, when a group of volunteer doctors began providing basic care to clients at the Camillus House soup kitchen. Since then, the organization has grown into a professional, full-service health care provider, operating a state-of-the-art health center alongside community and street outreach programs.

We are a private, non-profit organization offering comprehensive health care, behavioral health, and social services to men, women, and children who are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing homelessness in Miami-Dade County.

Our main facility is located in downtown Miami at 336 NW 5th Street, with satellite clinics at Camillus House, the Salvation Army, and through street medicine programs. Our dedicated team of health care professionals is committed to promoting the health and well-being of Miami’s most vulnerable residents by meeting patients wherever they are.

In the past year, Camillus Health Concern served 5,508 individual patients, resulting in a total of 35,269 visits.
