Before It's Too Late (BITL)

A nonprofit organization

BITL launches public art and education projects that raise awareness and inspire change for environmental issues that affect us locally. We strive to find ways to make these issues more visually and emotionally engaging in order to reach people who are currently unengaged.

We are most known for our augmented reality murals - these are interactive murals that come to life through your phone. You can still find our first mural entitled "What Future Do You Choose For Miami?" at 1800 NMiami Ave. Also check out our mural about pollinators at Liberty Gardens Park in North Miami and our mural about the UN Sustainability Development Goals at Miami Beach South Pointe Elementary School.

We are also proud of our annual Earth Week Challenge, which engaged over 14,000 students from 100 schools in South Florida to take action to fight climate change. The daily challenges include: Meatless Monday, Transportation Tuesday, Water Wednesday, Trashy Thursday, Civic Friday, Shop Green Saturday and Appreciation Sunday. The program provides a holistic way to learn about environmentalism in its themed approach.

Mission

Before It's Too Late (BITL) uses art and technology to educate and inspire people to take action on climate change and to build a more sustainable world together.
