$120,000 Goal

For over 80 years, Beth Torah has stood as a cornerstone in South Florida's Jewish community and beyond. We've been a beacon of worship, celebration, connection, community, and learning for over 800 member families. Our commitment to serving the Miami community goes beyond our beautiful campus, as we've organized donor drives, blood donations, clothing donations, and have supported the homeless communities of Miami. We've nurtured our community through the Suzy Fisher Early Childhood Academy, Religious Schools, and a vibrant summer camp. And when families need a helping hand, we offer scholarships for our educational and youth programming.

However, today we face a new challenge. As we watch the ongoing events in Israel, our hearts are heavy, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding our Beth Torah community. The safety and security of ALL our members, especially our children, clergy, staff, and this cherished place we call our second home, are of paramount importance.

The additional costs incurred in bolstering our already robust security were unforeseen and are unfortunately not covered within our current budget. We've taken steps to enhance security, including the presence of off-duty police officers and additional security guards during school hours, drop-off, pickup, and after-school hours. Our goal is clear: to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels safe and secure while they worship, learn, and gather.

To achieve this, we need your support. Your contribution to the Be A Hero Security Fund will go towards installing advanced security systems and hiring more trained personnel to monitor our premises. By taking security seriously, we are sending a message of strength and resilience. We're reminding ourselves and others that we will not be intimidated or deterred by those who seek to do us harm. Our commitment to security is a testament to our unwavering faith and our unbreakable spirit.

Together, we can continue to create a safe and welcoming environment for all members of our community. Your support is invaluable, and it will make a real difference. Please join us on Give Miami Day to make a donation to the Be A Hero Security Fund. Let's stand strong as a community, knowing that we are working together to ensure the safety and security of our cherished Beth Torah.
