We have been in existence ever since 2014 on paper. However we have been facilitating and assisting our undeserved communities since 2008 with strictly donations. Never been federally, state, or local funded. Therefore, your donations really is appreciative and resourceful. So we pray your hearts are led to donate to help the continued spread of awareness through events that allow the community not to only be entertained but also to become informed about information many will not seek unless going to a doctor.
Mission
The mission of A Leap of Faith Foundation (ALOF) is developing outreach and preventive measures to establish the quality of life by providing condoms, testing for STDs (HIV) assist in healthy eating for change of intake for healthier life style. This is implemented by having events/programs and planning. By doing this, this will educate and transform the thoughts and impulsive behavior that will decrease risky behavior and lead to healthier and safer practices. By providing entertainments and events, this can also help bring forth and connect the gaps from the elderly and wise with the young and hip by way of the arts, film events, poetry/creative writing, fashion, and many aspects that will express what the community has become. We will like to also advance and expand by putting outreach health advocates all throughout Dade and Broward.
