The Able Trust

The Able Trust is committed to creating employment opportunities for Floridians with disabilities because ALL people value work and want to make independent financial choices. We partner with organizations in Miami-Dade to put action into employment and a spotlight on abilities. Since 1991, Able Trust partners, collaborators, and business allies have united to create inclusive talent development and employment opportunities for a stronger workforce.

Join us to help continue to drive this change. The Able Trust is active with Strategic Employment Initiatives at Miami Dade College and Best Buddies South Florida to create internships and employment placement. We partner with the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired for two High School High Tech programs to assist high school students with disabilities gain skills, achieve graduation, experience internships, and develop education and career plans of their choice. The Able Trust recently launched The ABLE Network, a B2B/peer-to-peer program for business leaders committed to diversity and inclusion. The network supports businesses that want to educate, empower, and employ Floridians with disabilities, and fosters business-to-business learning and best practices.
