A Bat Mitzvah is a milestone to be cherished for a lifetime.

WIZO Florida’s year-long Community Bat Mitzvah Program empowers 100 young Jewish girls each year through leadership, friendship, and giving. Guided by a devoted team of volunteers and educators, the girls spend months preparing for their special day—learning Jewish values, traditions, and the joy of community service. 

Throughout the year, the girls gain tools to become the next generation of women leaders and philanthropists, while creating lasting memories and lifelong friendships. The journey culminates in a beautiful community Bat Mitzvah celebration for the girls and their families—many of whom could not otherwise afford this experience. They also spend a few days bonding and learning together in an immersive trip in Washington DC.

The program’s impact is so profound that it has expanded to two locations, ensuring more girls can share in this empowering tradition.
