About Us

Amplify Community Resources (ACR) improves mental and social well-being in marginalized communities by providing accessible and inclusive services to youth and families. Through forward-thinking programs like the Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions (TTDS) and the Amplify Community Wellness initiative, ACR addresses pressing mental health needs, promotes emotional resilience, and enables communities to flourish.

Since its inception, ACR has reached over 3,000 individuals, providing them with support and guidance to improve mental health outcomes, reduce stigma, and cultivate a sense of community. Our Teen Talk program has directly connected with youth from underserved areas, helping them build emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and financial literacy, all while fostering a sense of self-worth and purpose. In addition, our mindfulness and wellness initiatives have empowered adults and youth alike to take charge of their mental health, resulting in more resilient families and communities.

ACR’s work is rooted in cultural competence, ensuring that the diverse populations we serve feel understood and supported. Our vision for South Florida and beyond is to drive enduring progress in our communities. That's why we partner with schools, community organizations, law enforcement agencies, and local governments to deliver sustainable, meaningful programs that address the growing mental health crisis in our nation.

ACR has partnered with RER Consulting Enterprise in supporting its two signature programs:

  1. The Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions®
  2. Amplify Community Resources (ACR) (fka COVID-19 Mental Health & Wellness Program©).

Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions© (TTDS)

The Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions© addresses the social and emotional well-being of teens and young adults aged 13-21, intending to equip them with the skills and information necessary to lead a healthy and positive lifestyle. The program includes evidence-based modules on Conflict Resolution, Financial Literacy, Yoga/Mindfulness, Nutrition, and more. Our program is designed to collaborate closely with our network of trusted partners, including local law enforcement agencies, to foster positive behavior among youth that creates thriving communities.

Amplify Community Resources (ACR) (fka COVID-19 Mental Health & Wellness Program©)

Founded in 2020, as the COVID-19 Mental Health & Wellness Program©, ACR is an evidence-informed mental health program designed to assist Miami-Dade County residents navigate the myriad challenges in the aftermath of the pandemic. This multi-pronged, multi-generational, people-centric mental health and wellness program uses cultural, social, and linguistic competencies and evidence-based modalities to provide accessible tools for individuals to address mental health and wellness issues using Mental Health & Wellness Scorecards, workshops,  and symposiums. ACW provides residents of MDC with the tools to respond, reassess, recover, and renew their lives to better cope and thrive.

By amplifying the voices of those who often feel overlooked, ACR has become a trusted leader in mental health and wellness advocacy. Our long-term outcomes include increased emotional well-being, reduced bullying and violence in schools, and stronger, more supportive community networks. As ACR continues to expand, we invite partners, supporters, and community members to join us in creating welcoming spaces where everyone, regardless of background, can access the mental health support they need.

Mission

ACR works to empower communities through tailored program development, encompassing outreach, and culturally-responsive training, creating strong, diverse and flourishing communities where all children and families feel protected, nurtured, and empowered to achieve limitless possibilities.
