ABOUT US

Amplify Community Resources (ACR) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the mental and social well-being of Miami-Dade County residents living in under-resourced communities. We provide accessible, culturally competent services to youth and families, offering practical tools that support emotional resilience, personal development, and long-term well-being.

Our work focuses on direct community engagement through our two signature initiatives: Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions (TTDS) and Amplify Community Wellness (ACW). These evidence-informed programs address the community's mental health and wellness needs by creating welcoming environments where individuals, youth, and families feel seen, heard, and respected.

Since our founding, ACR has impacted more than 6,000 individuals across South Florida. Through school-based workshops, community activations, and cross-sector partnerships, our mission is to reduce stigma around mental health and promote wellness from county line to county line.

TEEN TALK DIALOGUE SESSIONS (TTDS)

The Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions (TTDS) program supports the emotional and behavioral development of youth and young adults ages 13 to 21. Designed to build resilience, self-awareness, positive mindset, leadership, and critical thinking, the program features evidence-informed modules covering:

• Conflict resolution

• Financial literacy

• Guided mind-body practices

• Nutrition and Self-care

• Life Skills

TTDS is delivered in partnership with schools, local agencies, and trusted community stakeholders, including law enforcement officers who engage youth in strengths-based conversations and activities. These sessions encourage healthy decision-making and provide young people with tools to thrive in school, at home, and in their communities.

AMPLIFY COMMUNITY WELLNESS (ACW)

Amplify Community Wellness (ACW) is a multi-generational initiative developed in response to the growing wellness needs that arose during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. Since that time, ACW has continued to evolve its offerings to address the needs of Miami-Dade County residents through evidence-based strategies that improve their health and well-being.

Program offerings include:

• Mental health and wellness scorecards

• Community workshops and training

• Wellness activations and community forums

Through these offerings, individuals and families gain tools to manage stress, assess wellness priorities, and improve their quality of life. Whether through citywide wellness campaigns, neighborhood events, or departmental workshops, ACW fosters meaningful, ongoing access to care.

Our mission at ACR is to increase residents' access to mental health education, supports, and services in communities that experience disproportionate barriers to service.
