Activities

Since 2009, Veterans Ocean Adventures (VOA) has been helping our nation’s heroes find healing, purpose, and connection through the power of the ocean. In partnership with local organizations and businesses, VOA serves more than 450 veterans, active-duty members, and their families every year, providing life-changing access to therapeutic water sports, scuba diving, and sailing programs right here in South Florida.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to help veterans rediscover strength, community, and peace through ocean-based experiences that complement traditional mental health care and support reintegration into civilian life.

With your support, we can:

Introduce 500 veterans and family members each year to adaptive water sports and new possibilities.
Support the healing journey of 200 veterans through ocean therapy that promotes physical and emotional well-being.
Train and certify 20 veterans in sailing or scuba diving, empowering them to become leaders, instructors, and mentors to others.

Every dollar you give helps us create opportunities for veterans to rebuild confidence, overcome isolation, and discover freedom on the water.

Mission

Our mission is to provide opportunities for Veterans to experience the healing power of water. Simply put, we take Veterans Sailing, SCUBA diving and paddling to improve their physical, emotional and mental health in order for them to successfully reintegrate into the community.

VOA uses its community outreach and programming to serve veterans and their families and will develop training procedures and methods for replication in other communities.
