Venprendedoras is a Miami-based nonprofit that empowers Venezuelan and Hispanic women entrepreneurs by providing them with the visibility, connections, and support they need to thrive in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We believe that every woman—regardless of her origin, age, accent, or migration story—deserves equal access to the resources and opportunities needed to grow her business. Yet, the challenges are real:

•    54% of Miami-Dade’s population is foreign-born, and over one-third have limited English proficiency.

•    62% of Latina business owners in the U.S. are between the ages of 40 and 59, a stage where time to build networks and capital is limited.

•    Latina-led organizations receive less than 2.4% of philanthropic funding 

Venprendedoras focuses on first-generation immigrant women entrepreneurs, particularly those over 40, offering bilingual training programs, mentorship, networking opportunities, and visibility initiatives.

In just five years, we have:

✅ Grown a vibrant community of 5,000+ engaged women entrepreneurs who actively learn, connect, and support one another.

✅ Hosted 58 workshops, 64 events, and 9 sales bazaars, equipping hundreds of women with the tools and confidence to grow their businesses and fostering countless connections and collaborations (an average of 4–7 per event, according to post-event surveys).

✅ Delivered 1,000+ hours of training, creating measurable economic mobility for underserved first-generation immigrant women.

✅ Forged strategic partnerships with local, national and global organizations  amplifying resources and opportunities for our community.

✅ Empowered participants to launch and scale businesses, with over 60% reporting increased revenue or new clients as a direct result of our programs.

Our impact is clear: every woman we support becomes a driver of job creation, economic growth, and community transformation in Miami.
