Camp U.O.T.S. is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering a week-long, sleep-away camp for pediatric cancer patients at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (NCH). During our annual summer camp in Miami, FL, patients enjoy a variety of unforgettable activities while under the care of volunteer counselors as well as their physicians, nurses, and child life specialists. The camp is a dream come true for children with cancer and their families. Thanks to contributions from donors like you, the camp is free and open to NCH Hematology/Oncology patients.
Dedicated Counselors
Each summer, dozens of camp counselors—most of whom are cancer survivors and former campers themselves—volunteer at Camp U.O.T.S. to facilitate a week of exciting and memorable activities! Their involvement inspires our young patients to remain brave and hopeful for a healthy future.
24/7 Medical Support
Camp U.O.T.S. activities take place under the guidance and care of physicians, nurses, and child-life specialists from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Throughout the week, our campers have direct access to their healthcare providers, offering a worry-free experience for the children and their families.
