Universal Medical Clinic (UMC Free Clinic) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers whose primary goal is to serve the underserved regardless of race, religion, and gender. UMC aims to provide medical care to Miami-Dade & Broward County residents by collaborating with local healthcare institutions, diagnostic, screening, and testing centers. UMC improves public health, lowers healthcare costs, and reduces the burden of non-emergency care placed on local hospitals’ emergency rooms. UMC Free Clinic is ideally located to serve both Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. 


Founded by Syed Zafar, Sadrul Fasihi and Dr. Zafar Qureshi, UMC's mission is to serve the underserved while being mindful of the social and economic realities that influence our community members. UMC Free Clinic promotes the well-being of the needy by providing access to high-quality healthcare for all, regardless of their ability to pay. UMC is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.
