The Marian Center offers services for people with intellectual disabilities, regardless of race, religion or background, and we offer financial aid to all those who qualify.
We are located on a beautiful 50- acre campus next to St. Thomas University, the Marian Center has the following educational and other services to assist the needs of all ages:
SCHOOL
The Marian Center offers individualized and highly specialized education plans unique to each child. We have certified and experienced special education teachers in each classroom with one specially-trained teacher assistant per class. Marian Center School accepts students ages 6 through 21 with developmental disabilities exhibiting mild to moderate cognitive impairment.
ADULT DAY TRAINING
The Marian Center Adult Day Training Program provides continued education as well as structured and well-rounded recreational, social, and occupational services for clients over 21 years old with mild to moderate developmental disabilities.
The Marian Center adult programs are APD/Med Waiver approved.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Provides a home-like environment where residents experience everyday life and pursue greater independence in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
The mission of the Marian Center is to educate and empower persons with diverse abilities, and nurture them to wholeness, following the Gospel and the Church's call to love, charity and justice.
