The Miami Oratorio Society Inc

Please consider making a gift to support The Miami Oratorio Society, a Choral group formed in 1974 by Mr. Victor Kelly whose objective was to expose this multi cultural Community to prominent Choral works by the great Composers such as Handel, Bach and Mendelssohn. Maestro Kelly's wish was that the Great Choral Works be accompanied by an Orchestra, a continuing area of expense for the Choir. We invite any local Instrumentalists to contact us . Our three Performances are at Christmas, Easter and early Summer.

Succeeding Directors have been as deeply committed to building a multi cultural  organization that exemplifies choral excellence . Our current Interim Director is Dr. Eugene Greco, Retired Professor of Music at Miami Dade Community College. He currently serves as Director of Music at St Thomas Episcopal Church in Coral Gables and Instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Miami.

 Providing Scholarships in voice training  for deserving students  who would otherwise  be unable to afford this training is our visioning for the immediate future. This year we will be rewarding two Scholarships  for qualified Students for our 2025-2026 Performances. We have also discussed  reaching out to some of the Nursing Homes  in the Community  to share the Holiday Spirit in Song.

Your funding will help us to raise up the next famous Miamian  Classical Artist and ensure that this Choir continues to expand its territory.
