LoHi Magazine is a Miami-based arts and culture publication dedicated to elevating the people, places, and ideas shaping the city’s future. Miami’s media landscape often centers luxury hospitality and celebrity culture. We’re here to broaden the lens.

We highlight the innovators, environmental stewards, and creative communities protecting Miami’s past and building its future — from Miccosukee knowledge keepers to python hunters, marine biologists, club kids, and artists pushing the city forward.

What We Do

Publish & Preserve Culture

We produce and publish LoHi Magazine, a print publication distributed across Miami-Dade public libraries to make arts and culture accessible to everyone. Most importantly, we highlight and preserve the grit that makes Miami unique. 

Platform Local Voices

We work with nonprofit partners, community leaders, and emerging creatives whose stories rarely reach mainstream media.

Create Educational Storytelling

From Biscayne Bay to the Everglades, we collaborate with organizations like Mote Marine Lab and Coralmorphologic to spotlight environmental issues through engaging, narrative-based content.

Offer Free Public Programs

We host workshops, conversations, and cultural events that connect Miamians with the city’s creative ecosystem. We also offer creative portfolio reviews for the future wave of creative talent.

Where does your donation go?

    •    $25 – Helps place a copy of LoHi in a Miami-Dade public library

    •    $100 – Supports the printing of educational content featuring local nonprofits

    •    $250 – Funds a free workshop, community talk, or portfolio review for college bound students 

    •    $500 – Supports a photographer, writer, or artist featured in Issue 05

    •    $1,000 – Covers youth arts programs for 10 students 

    •    $5,000 – Helps fund the production of LoHi Issue 05
