Survivors HOPE is a survivor-led nonprofit organization providing mentoring, peer support, case management, and advocacy to survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation throughout South Florida.
What makes Survivors HOPE unique is that our work is rooted in lived experience. Our founder, Daniela Deas, once navigated many of the same systems as the young people we serve. Her story began at just 12 years old, when she experienced exploitation and became involved in the juvenile justice system. Years later, Daniela became a Florida Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager and Certified Peer Support Specialist, transforming her lived experience into professional advocacy for the next generation of survivors.
Daniela believes in the power of HOPE—and that belief became Survivors HOPE.
At the heart of our organization is the Survivor Advocacy Program, which provides individualized mentoring and peer support, case management, resource navigation, and court and community advocacy. We meet young survivors where they are, walk alongside them through complex systems, and help them build pathways toward healing, stability, and a future beyond exploitation.
