The Talented Art Parents Association (TAPA) is a dedicated booster club supporting the young artists in the Art Magnet Program at Southwood Middle School. We provide the resources, tools, and experiences students need to explore and develop their artistic talents.
This year marks the inaugural year of our ceramics program, fully funded through past efforts. Our current focus is on creating a Digital Arts Studio, which will equip students with cutting-edge technology, including computers, design software, and tablets for digital design and multimedia production. This space will give students the opportunity to learn modern creative skills essential for their futures in creative industries.
Led by passionate teachers, Mrs. Sarah Gomez-Martinez and Mr. Omar Angulo, the program fosters an inspiring and dynamic environment where students can thrive artistically, academically, and personally.
Every dollar raised directly supports the growth of the art program and the next generation of artists. Join us in making a lasting impact by contributing to TAPA on Give Miami Day.
TAPA is committed to enhancing the educational experience of students in Southwood Middle School's Art Magnet Program by providing the tools and opportunities they need to thrive artistically and academically.
This year, our focus is on Building a Digital Arts Studio—a space that will serve all 150 students in the program, giving them access to cutting-edge technology for digital design, graphic arts, and printmaking. By creating this studio, we aim to equip our students with the skills they need to succeed in the creative industries of the future.
Your support will help fund essential equipment such as computers, tablets, design software, and a large-format printer. These tools will allow our students to bring their ideas to life in a modern, professional studio environment.
Help us empower the next generation of digital creators by contributing to our campaign today!
