Street Cat Clinic is a non-profit veterinary surgical clinic, in North Miami, dedicated to the spay/neuter of outdoor cats and kittens

Our clinic, established in late 2024 by Dr Mat Toscano and his wife Deanna Toscano, was designed specifically to meet the needs of outdoor cats.   Every detail was meticulously planned, with over ten years of non-profit veterinary experience to guide us.  

Our operational model relies on massive collaboration.  There are so many amazing cat trappers and rescuers in southeast Florida who spend their own time and money volunteering to spay/neuter and rescue street cats.  These kind souls deserve a veterinary clinic that offers no-cost services for the great work they are doing.  We are that resource for them.

Our team is tiny and mighty!  

In the first 12 months of operations,

we have spay/neutered over 8,000 outdoor cats!

Additionally, we provide vaccinations and flea treatment to TNR cats as well as microchips and FeLV/FIV testing to cats that were rescued from the street and will be adopted into indoor homes.

Unfortunately, many outdoor cats, subjected to dog attacks, hit-by-cars, disease and starvation need extra support.  We provide special surgical procedures, such as enucleations, amputations, entropion repair, eyelid agenesis repair, wound care etc, to those unfortunate souls that require it at no charge to the trappers or rescue group.

Our plea is simple: with increased funding 

we have the capacity to 

immediately begin spay/neutering 

thousands of more street cats in 2026
