Support St. Hugh Catholic School: Help Us Build a New Preschool Playground

At St. Hugh Catholic School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where our students can grow, learn, and thrive. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the school experience for our youngest Raiders, we are excited to announce our fundraising goal for this year’s Give Miami Day campaign – to raise $30,000 for the Preschool Playground Project!

This project is crucial for the continued development of our preschool students, as it will allow us to rebuild and improve the playground areas adjacent to their classrooms. These outdoor spaces are vital for their physical, emotional, and social growth, offering opportunities for active play, exploration, and learning in a safe, engaging environment.

Why is this important? Our current preschool playground is outdated and in need of major repairs. With the funds raised through the Raiders Fund, we will be able to:

• Renovate outdoor structures to ensure they are safe and age-appropriate.
• Create new, interactive play zones that foster creativity, motor skill development, and teamwork.
• Enhance the outdoor environment with shaded areas, seating, new concrete deck and fencing.

The Raiders Fund is designed to support the immediate needs of our school by providing flexible funding for smaller-scale projects and enhancements that make a big difference in the day-to-day experiences of our students. The preschool playground is a perfect example of how these funds directly impact our school community.
