Every kid steps onto the court or into the lab with untapped potential—curious, energetic, and ready to build. Yet for youth in Miami's most underserved neighborhoods, access to high-level STEM education, athletic coaching, and mental wellness support is often out of reach.
At Sports Konnect, we are changing that through sports, science, and mental wellness. We believe that consistent, intentional mentorship combined with physical activity and academic enrichment reshapes the trajectory of a student’s life.
During the 2026–2027 school year, we are delivering high-impact programming to over 1,100 youth (ages 11–18) across Miami-Dade County at 24 library branches and 5 community centers, led by more than 30 paid, trained mentors and STEM educators equipped in trauma-informed care.
Our Core Focus Areas
• Athletics & Teamwork: Teaching healthy risk-taking, court discipline, accountability, and physical wellness.
• STEAM & Innovation: Hands-on robotics and science workshops, including sending students to NASA Science Camp and University Basketball Camp.
• Youth Move Wellness: Safe spaces for emotional regulation, mental wellness check-ins, and building personal resilience.
• Alumni & Career Readiness: Equipping high schoolers with transition guidance, college preparation, and professional mentorship.

Every dollar directly supports student supplies, camp sponsorships, and coach stipends across our 24 Miami-Dade locations. During Early Giving (November 14–18) and on Give Miami Day (November 19), every donation between $25 and $10,000 receives an additional percentage boost through The Miami Foundation’s Bonus Pool, maximizing the reach of your gift.

• $35: Provides one student with hands-on robotics and STEAM workshop kits.
• $100: Funds specialized athletic gear and clinic registration for a youth participant.
• $250: Covers tournament travel and competition fees for a team cohort.
