We generate funds through annual membership dues, corporate and individual donations, and fundraising events.
We support the Spanish Department with supplies and educational material. We organize cultural events throughout the school year: story telling, plays, workshops, etc.
This year, our fundraising goal is to purchase textbooks and organize cultural activities. Your support will impact more than 800 students in the International Studies Magnet Program.

Mission

The Spanish International Parents Association (SIPA) was established in April 1990 as a nonprofit organization run by volunteer parents. It serves as a support group for the Spanish section of the International Studies Magnet Program of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS).

We support and enhance the program, encouraging the study and use of the Spanish language and developing awareness and appreciation of Spanish culture, history, and customs.
