South Miami Childrens Clinic Inc

The South Miami Children's Clinic opened in 2007 and provides high quality pediatric medical care to children living in a low-income area of South Miami. The Clinic is a registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that offers free care to uninsured or underinsured children and serves a large percentage of Medicaid patients. We pride ourselves on delivering concierge care to a low-income patient population and addressing social determinants of health which can impact health and well-being such as food insecurity, housing insecurity, unemployment, and various childhood traumas. Our partnerships with the FIU Neighborhood HELP Program, FIU Behavioral Health Program, and Caring For Miami mobile dental van and food pantry, have provided many wrap around services for our patients. We are a true medical home and provide a safety net for those patients who would otherwise go without care or use the emergency room as their primary care provider. Our use of telemedicine as an adjunct to the care provided in the office helps to expand access to care.
