South Florida Wellness Network, Inc. (SFWN) is dedicated to providing recovery-focused support to individuals and families affected by behavioral, emotional, mental health, trauma, and substance use challenges. We believe in the power of peer support and the potential for everyone to achieve their ultimate self with the right support and recovery-ready communities.

SFWN serves the Broward and Miami-Dade communities as a recovery community organization (RCO). Our services are run and driven by youth, adults, and family peers who have been strengthened by their lived experiences. Our holistic approach supports individuals through their unique recovery paths, offering peer support, training, outreach, and community engagement.

Key Services:

Peer Support and Outreach: Our trained recovery peer specialists provide support in jails, treatment centers, mental health receiving centers, Juvenile Assessment Centers (JAC), and the child welfare system.

Training Programs: We offer evidence-based trainings such as: Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Whole Health Action Management (WHAM), Mental Health First Aid, and Screening, Brief Intervention, Nurturing Parenting, and Referral to Treatment (S-BIRT).

Pregnant and Parenting Families: SFWN offers specialized support to pregnant and post-partum families, including lactation support, to ensure a healthy transition into parenthood.

Recovery Support Services: Our comprehensive services include identifying housing needs, linking individuals to permanent supportive housing, and providing transitional vouchers and resources to support sustainable recovery.

Crisis Response: Our comprehensive crisis response process supports both adults and children, ensuring timely and effective intervention during critical moments.
