The ACT Fund was created by the SGPA (Somerset Gables Parent Association) with one clear purpose: to ensure that every classroom at Somerset Gables Academy has a dedicated teacher assistant. Teacher assistants play a vital role in supporting our teachers and helping every student succeed, giving children the individual attention and guidance they need to thrive. Somerset Gables is known for its excellent academic programs, and the ACT Fund strengthens that foundation by making sure no classroom goes without support. Being part of Give Miami Day is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, showcase our school spirit, and contribute directly to this important cause — helping ensure that every child has the resources and support they deserve.
PRIMARY GOAL: The primary focus of the SGPA is the raising of funds to help ensure there are Teaching Assistants in Somerset Gables classrooms each school year, through the ACT Fund.
The Somerset Gables Parents Association, Inc. is a registered non-profit 501c3 organization, which means donations are tax deductible.
