South Florida Fund for Retired Law Enforcement K9's

Our fund aims to assist the retired K -9's officer/caretaker with medical expenses that may be incurred after retirement. After retirement, the officer/caretaker assumes sole responsibility for all veterinary expenses. We feel the officers and their K-9 heroes deserve dignity and full veterinary medical support when it is warranted. We want to help alleviate the financial burden of a serious illness/injury for these officers so that they are able to provide care for their retired partner. These K-9s have served in areas of apprehension, explosives and narcotics detection, search and rescue, weapons and money, illegal food and animal trafficking. Many of these dogs can avoid unnecessary euthanasia with this financial assistance. We want to give back to those that have served and protected us.
