FUNDRAISING GOAL - WOMEN IN THEATRE

Women in Theatre, powered by Simbios Art Corp, was founded in October 2023 with the mission of amplifying the voices of women creators in Miami’s performing arts community. For the past two years, we have proudly partnered with the Koubek Center to host panels, workshops, and community gatherings that celebrate and empower women both on and off the stage. In 2025, we are taking an exciting next step by moving to Buendía Hub in Doral, allowing us to expand into new neighborhoods and connect with even more diverse communities.

With your support, the 2025–2026 season will become our most ambitious yet. We will transform our monthly panels into podcast recordings, extending access to our conversations about art, leadership, and representation to listeners across Miami and beyond. We will also launch a community monologue showcase, offering women of all ages and backgrounds the chance to perform or direct powerful monologues—an inclusive stage where new voices can emerge, experiment, and shine. In addition, Women in Theatre will be featured at the Miami Book Fair, presenting six titles written by women who work in theatre, bridging literature and performance while giving visibility to authors whose contributions deserve to be celebrated.

Every contribution to Women in Theatre directly fuels this vision: creating platforms where women’s stories are shared, their artistry is seen, and their leadership is amplified. Your generosity helps us build a Miami where the performing arts reflect the diversity, strength, and imagination of women in our community. • $150 covers catering for one event, helping us host our community with care and hospitality.

• $500 funds Women in Theatre merchandise to share and sell, creating visibility and identity for our community.

• $1,000 provides one full day of crew to record podcast audio and video, capturing our panels for future audiences.

• $1,250 supports the editing of five podcasts, turning conversations into lasting resources for artists and the public.

• $1,600 helps us purchase podcast equipment, ensuring the sustainability of this new program.
