Founded in September 2024, SGT Canines is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Miami, Florida. We are committed to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or overlooked — especially seniors, medical cases, and those in urgent need of intervention.
In our first year, we have already rescued over 150 dogs, including over 20 pulled from Miami-Dade Animal Services before they were scheduled to be euthanized. We also provide emergency medical care and long-term support to dogs who otherwise would not survive.

Earlier this year, we offered weekly community training sessions to support adopters and local dog owners. These sessions provided education, confidence, and connection — helping keep dogs in loving homes. We paused due to limited funds but are hopeful that with your support this year, we can bring these programs back and grow them, helping more dogs stay where they belong: in safe, forever homes.
