Sacred Vedic Arts is a devotional art gallery, temple, cultural center, and spiritual community in the heart of Miami’s arts district.

We welcome the public by free admission for art viewing, spiritual lectures, kirtans (chanting), festivals, and sacred, cruelty-free cuisine, six days a week. Rooted in our spiritual lineage of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, we share the teachings of Bhakti-yoga – the yoga of devotion.

Our loving offerings include:

  • Serving sacred food to the underserved
  • Sharing theistic knowledge and sacred food at colleges and universities.
  • Sharing sacred sound, books, art and food at festivals.
  • Sharing transcendental books, sound and yoga in the women’s prison and shelters in Miami as well as numerous prisons nationwide.

One-hundred percent of the donations we receive go back to the community – to the residents who have taken shelter of living and serving in the ashram and to the teaching activities of bhakti-yoga to all we meet.

We are a small crew doing a lot, and we need help. Therefore, by the impetus of Give Miami day, we are asking for help from the greater community to support all of these above offerings.

Our founder, Srimati Syamarani dasi, a revered spiritual guide and leader, resides in our Miami center. Honored by India’s highest cultural institutions (including by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Kovind) for her contributions to the nation’s spiritual and artistic legacy and recently by Harvard University's Divinity School, Syamarani Dasi is also one of the few female gurus in her lineage. As both an artist spiritual teacher, she continues to pioneer a sacred visual language that bridges East and West, blending deep theological insight with heartfelt expression. As the founder of Sacred Vedic Arts, she mentors artists, guides spiritual seekers, and shares the timeless culture of bhakti-yoga.

In 2018, she received the Humanitarian Award from BhaktiFest for her exceptional devotional art, which has spanned over five decades and touched millions of lives around the world.

She continues to educate students and seekers in the beautiful truths of Vedic culture, using her art and teachings to alleviate suffering and spread the wisdom of bhakti-yoga.
