The Rev James and Betty Bush Family Foundation Inc

The Rev. James and Betty Bush Family Foundation (JBBF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in August 2022. Established to serve as a community development corporation, while collaborating with community partners and globally impacting social issues. We will eventually have an international outreach. Currently, we service Miami-Dade County and parts of Broward County. 

We aim to serve all communities and help them create a system of autonomy and self-sustainability. We believe in exposure and equity of resources. We have initiatives in many areas including youth, sports, health, education, homelessness and justice. We have taken community members to professional games where they have engaged in the on-court fan experience. We have done workshops on gun violence and peer pressure for our youth. We have co-hosted community resource fairs with on-site health screenings and exams. We have hosted back-to-school events to assist children with educational necessities. We have co-hosted community feed and shower days for the homeless community. We work with justice impacted individuals and have assisted individuals with getting their arrest record sealed and/or expunged. 

Point is, we aim to make a meaningful impact in all areas of society. We want to be the go-to hub that can support and provide referrals for those in need. We do this by actively networking in the community and building our database of sponsors and community partners, so we have the capacity and resources to address community needs. JBBF is uniquely positioned to do the work we do because our focus is the community at-large and not just one demographic of people. We travel to the community and take an asset-based approach to service, understanding that everyone brings something great to the table. We recently celebrated our one-year anniversary and have had an impactful year. Your generosity will help us continue our good work of being the nonprofit of all trades!
