About Us
ReCircle Society is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit giving clothing a longer life through community swaps, repair and upcycling workshops, and clothing give-backs. Our motto guides everything we do: “Reimagine Fashion. Renew Its Journey.”
Americans discarded an average of 103 pounds of textiles per person. Approximately 85% of discarded textiles go to landfills or incineration, according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
We give Miami practical ways to change that. Wearable clothing finds new owners, while pieces needing care become opportunities to repair and create. Our events bring people together to share skills, swap styles, and make reuse part of everyday life.
Our Impact
In just two years, we’ve:
Hosted 30+ clothing swaps and workshops
Rehomed 5,000+ pieces of clothing
Kept 4,000+ pounds of textiles out of Miami landfills
Behind these numbers are neighbors finding clothing they love, learning repair skills, and creating with reclaimed materials. Through shelter partnerships, we help people access clothing with dignity. We also share textiles with local makers and students.

Space and storage to collect, sort, and redistribute clothing.

Staffing and coordination to organize programs and support volunteers.

Our vision is a shared space where people can connect, create, repair, and swap, with the capacity to give donated clothing a thoughtful next step.
