Our foundation aspires to become a traveling cultural space to create an engaging environment where children can explore, develop, and activate their imagination through the spontaneous enjoyment of reading outside the classroom. Additionally, we are committed to promoting reading in Spanish.
The R.E.A.D. Project inspires a lifelong love of reading among young children by bringing literacy to life for families and communities. The organization has installed three Little Free Libraries—one in a public park and two in Doral neighborhoods—and has participated in or sponsored more than 10 storytelling events in parks and libraries. Led by a children's author with experience creating officially licensed children's books for a globally recognized automotive brand, The R.E.A.D. Project combines creative storytelling, community partnerships, and literacy initiatives to expand access to books and inspire the next generation of readers.
