RJT Foundation offers several services to families impacted by violence through the RJT WORKS (RESTORE JOY & TRUST WITH OUR RELIABLE KIND SERVICES)

Program:
The RESTORE JOY & TRUST Bereavement Support Group- provides assistance to families that are suffering from the emotional scars after the loss of a loved one due to a violent criminal act. Care packages, compassionate support, education and advocacy are essential in helping families to rebuild their lives.
The Reading WARRIOR (War Against Rage Reading Is Our Remedy) Program- is specifically focused on providing assistance to the dependents and siblings of crime victims because they suffer a great deal of pain as a result of their loss. Educational award scholarships are available to crime victims and survivors in hopes of encouraging them to pursue their dreams when life throws them lemons they can turn them into lemonade. The RJT Community Outreach services provides brochures with helpful tips on coping with death, grief, bullying, community and family violence; as well as, information on community resources, volunteer opportunities for youth and non-violent returning citizens. Our goal at RJT Foundation is to provide outstanding service, support and compassion during the grieving process. It's never easy losing someone you love, especially to senseless violence. We can relate because many of our volunteers are crime victims and survivors too.
