The purpose of this fundraising is to update the cafeteria's stage and sound system, and other PTA activities. The stage and it's sound system are vital to our ability to showcase the children's talents and recognize them for their successes. The cafeteria stage and its sound system have never been updated and were installed with the original building over 35 years ago. We, the PTA, are trying to obtain a working microphone/sound system and curtains.

Mission

Dr. Gilbert L Porter Elementary School PTA is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the educational experience of the students and families of GLP. We are a group of moms who volunteer our time and efforts to ensure each child has the best chance to succeed.
