Aventura Waterways K–8 PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every student and strengthening the connection between families, educators, and the school community. We work collaboratively to support academic programs, teacher appreciation initiatives, student activities, and campus improvements through fundraising, community events, and volunteer engagement.
Funds raised through our PTSA directly benefit students and teachers across all grade levels. Contributions help us provide:
- Classroom enhancements such as updated technology, hands-on STEM materials, flexible seating, and art supplies.
- Teacher appreciation and morale programs including monthly staff treats, classroom grants, and holiday recognition events.
- Student enrichment activities like science fairs, theatre and music programs, reading challenges, and field trips.
- Campus improvements such as playground upgrades, library resources, and beautification projects.
- Community-building events including family nights, cultural celebrations, wellness initiatives, and parent education workshops.
Last year, through generous donations like yours, we were able to build a 90-foot covering to help streamline dismissal by providing a covered area for students to wait. We also replaced water fountains, bottle filling stations and filtration systems throughout the school to give students and staff access to free, filtered water throughout the day.
These improvements cost tens of thousands of dollars and are only possible through your generous support.
