Prospera empowers individuals and families by providing business training, personalized consulting, and resources that help entrepreneurs start, sustain, and grow their businesses.

Since 1991, Prospera has been a nonprofit economic development organization specializing in bilingual assistance for entrepreneurs. We are able to serve entrepreneurs and strengthen our communities thanks to the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies that invest in our mission.

In our first 30 years of service, Prospera:

• Provided consulting to more than 21,800 entrepreneurs
• Helped create or retain more than 30,000 jobs across Florida
• Generated $4.9 billion in economic impact

In the last five years in South Florida alone, Prospera has:

• Facilitated more than $21.6 million in capital for local small businesses
• Trained more than 3,800 local entrepreneurs
• Provided consulting to more than 2,700 aspiring and established small business owners, helping them create or retain more than 6,500 jobs
