Six Rooms. Six Futures. One Home Built for Triumph.

Every young person deserves a place to call home.

But for young adults aging out of foster care, turning 18 can mean facing adulthood without one. While their peers may have family to call, a bedroom to return to, or someone to help when life gets difficult, foster youth can leave care facing the responsibilities of adulthood with limited support and few affordable housing options.

Propelling Into Triumph (PIT) is changing that and this Give Miami Day, we are asking our community to help us build what comes next.

Our next chapter is Triumph House, a new six-room housing development that will provide young adults transitioning from foster care with safe, affordable housing and the support they need to build independent, successful lives.

We Know What a Home Can Do

Our journey didn't begin with Triumph House.

Through our Saints House Transitional Housing Program, PIT has already created homes where young adults transitioning from foster care can find stability while building their futures.

What began as a vision has grown into three transitional homes, including housing for young women, young men, and pregnant and parenting young adults.

Inside these homes, residents receive much more than a key.

They have access to individualized Success Coaching, mentorship, financial literacy, life-skills development, education and career support, transportation assistance, community resources, and caring adults who consistently show up for them.

We've learned something powerful through this work:

Housing creates stability but housing paired with support creates opportunity.

Now, we are ready to build on that success.

The Next Chapter: Triumph House

Triumph House will be a new six-room housing development created specifically for young adults transitioning from foster care.

Each resident will have a private bedroom and bathroom, giving young adults the dignity and personal space of independent living while maintaining access to shared community spaces and PIT's comprehensive supportive services.

Triumph House will include shared living and kitchen areas, laundry facilities, and space for residents to access resources and build community.

But the most important thing we are building isn't contained in the floor plan.

We are building stability.

We are building a place where a young adult can come home after work.

A place where a college student can study without wondering where they will sleep.

A place where someone can save money, build credit, pursue a career, learn how to manage a household, and prepare for their next chapter.

A place where turning 18 doesn't mean facing adulthood alone.

Why We Need to Build More

Our existing Saints House homes have shown us both what is possible and why expansion is necessary.

Young adults leaving foster care continue to need safe, affordable housing paired with consistent support. Our current homes allow us to serve young people today, but every bed has a limit.

Triumph House allows us to create more.

More housing.

More stability.

More opportunities.

More young adults who have somewhere safe to land while they work toward independence.

And unlike temporary assistance, building Triumph House creates something that can serve young people year after year.
