Project T.H.U.G is a non-profit organization designed to redefine stereotypes while reinforcing the idea of upholding, restoring, and maintaining communities.
We believe to foster the development of a young adolescent male, we must take and focus on a holistic approach. One that nearly mimics the foundations of men who walked the soil where we now grow tainted fruit. Decades have passed since the pillars of freedom were erected within our community. "Desegregation," The civil rights act, The abolishment of Jim Crow, The Voting Rights act, and the countless other "liberating feats" that, if listed, would take the entirety of this document.
Yet we, the occupants of this community, still find "socioeconomic status, race, sexual orientation, and access to upward resources" dictating the direction in which we move as a community. This problem is most unjust and rather disheartening for the future of what we hope this world to be.
