Pinecrest Elementary School PTA-Media Center

This year, our Give Miami Day efforts are focused on reimagining Pinecrest Elementary’s media center into a more welcoming, flexible, and functional space for our entire school community. Our goal is to update the space with new furniture and fresh paint while creating a layout that can easily adapt to the many ways the media center is used throughout the school year.

We envision a space where students can comfortably read and learn, classes can gather for discussions and collaborative activities, and the room can easily transition to accommodate parent presentations, PTA meetings, and other schoolwide programs. By investing in thoughtful, flexible improvements, we can create a media center that better serves our students, teachers, and families today and for years to come.
