About Our Give Miami Day Campaign

The Pinecrest PTA supports the students and families of Pinecrest Elementary, a Miami-Dade County Public School. We partner with faculty and staff to nurture every child’s educational, social, and physical growth. The PTA provides schoolwide programs and initiatives that enhance learning, and your generous donations allow us to continue this important work each year.

This year, we’re dedicating our Give Miami Day efforts to refreshing and improving our school cafeteria.

The cafeteria is like Grand Central Station for Pinecrest Elementary. Every student, from kindergarten through fifth grade, passes through this space each day. It’s where they laugh, talk with friends, and enjoy a meal away from the structure of the classroom. For 30 minutes, it’s their time to unwind and simply be kids.

While we’re fortunate to have a clean, functional space with sturdy tables, the cafeteria’s vibe is a bit uninspiring. With the addition of color, sound panels, and thoughtful design, we can transform it into a welcoming and uplifting environment for all students. 

The Cafeteria Refresh Project benefits every child — because even an elementary school cafeteria deserves to be beautiful.
