Palmetto Elementary School PTA

The Palmetto Elementary School PTA seeks to ensure our PTA funded programs keep running and that we are able to maintain our A+ rating. Given the challenges that this COVID era has presented, combined with continued shrinking school budgets, PTA fundraising has become more crucial to ensuring teachers and students receive the necessary resources to enrich and maintain an effective and successful academic experience for all children. Our PTA Budget pays for educational, cultural, and social programs not covered by the Miami-Dade County Public Schools district or the State of Florida.

Palmetto's PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact our children's health, safety and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community. We invite you to support our PTA because any type of support, monetary or otherwise, helps makes it possible to continue our wonderful Rainbow Readers (AR Program), support school improvements such as our Media Center update and track installation, support enrichment programs, curriculum supplementation, and activities for our students, plus so much more!
