While in the care of PAWS4you, dogs receive top medical care, emotional support, training, and one-on-one socialization which allows them to remain healthy, happy pets rather than become just a number. Part of the PAWS4you philosophy is that every dog should have the space to be a dog! For this reason, our facility contains an Astro turf yard for exercise and playtime, which is a critical part of leading a healthy, social life. The unique personality of each dog is taken into consideration, and those with certain temperaments are paired with other dogs that compliment them in order to promote positive interactions.

Over the last 15 years, we have served a vital need by sheltering, fostering, and placing dogs in their forever homes throughout the southern portion of Miami Dade County. We offer life-saving services where needed and employ various strategies to place and keep these animals in loving, lifelong homes. These strategies include: 1. Saving dogs from abandonment and euthanasia 2. Providing necessary medical care including, but not limited to, spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and supporting emergency procedures 3. Providing a safe retreat/shelter while dogs wait to be placed with safe and loving families 4. Educating the general public to spread awareness about PAWS4you's mission and grow its volunteer and donor base.
