Who We Are

Opportunity Connect is a support network of entrepreneurs, business coaches and advisors who are committed to making their neighborhoods and cities better through entrepreneurship.

Opportunity Connect was created with the goal of supporting minority entrepreneurs in marginalized communities in Miami. We knew, thanks to research and first-hand experience, that entrepreneurs in these communities faced an uphill battle to attain success due to lack of resources, time, or capital to grow their business. 

We also knew that solving this problem was no easy task. 

However, thanks to the commitment and dedication of our funders, team of advisors, coaches, community leaders and partner organizations, we’ve been able to make a lasting impact. We’ve circulated $4,239,137 in the form of technical assistance, grants awarded to our entrepreneurs, and revenue generated for our businesses. We’ve provided a total of 2,486 hours of technical assistance and supported in the creation of 71 businesses.
